My astronomy contribution to the world.

Projects

Strangely enough, my primary focus is towards astrophotography as opposed to viewing.  These "projects" are listed in desired completion order.

  1. Build a power box. DONE
  2. Build a Scope Dolly to help move it in an out of garage.  I figure this one item, with the power problem solved with the power box, would fix my inability to muster out a viewing session.  It is just TOO much work otherwise.  tv=1/ws.  (viewing time) = 1/(setup work) DONE
  3. Purchase a few viewing accessories
    1. Barlow
    2. Another eyepiece DONE
  4. Purchase a few needed Astrophotography accessories:
    1. Piggyback camera adapter.
    2. Guiding eyepiece.
    3. Tele-extender.
  5. Purchase more accessories:
    1. Guide scope.
    2. Materials to make mounting rings.
  6. Build an observing table.
  7. Remake mounting for Coulter so is not as cheap, and also very portable.
  8. Make a 16" super light weight / transportable Dobsonion scope.
