How to be 100% thief proof!
- Place a death robe (what you get when you or others die) in your backpack.
- Place all of your normal backpack stuff in a pouch and place on this death robe.
- Open your pouch so that you have access to it.
- Place another death robe on top of this pouch.
- If you have done it correctly, you should only see a death robe in your pack. When
a thief tries to get your stuff, all he sees is a death robe and death robes are not
stealable so they can't get inside of your pouch with all of your equipment. Make
sure that your pouch weighs over 10 stones so a random steal won't take it. And if
it is very laggy, then place an extra death robe or two on top because with a lot of lag
and fast mouse clicks, he might be able to.
- The reason that there is a deathrobe above and below your bag, is that when you cross a
server boundary, the items in your pack will change positions without displaying the
change until you re-open your back. Having one robe above and below your pouch, so
far in testing, will always keep your pouch buried in the middle of the robes and thief
proof.

I suggest taking about 3000 gold when you go reagent shopping. I like to buy out
a shop of their regs if they are in the correct price range.
I also keep about 20-30 regs of each type on me at all times and 100 of each in the
bank. I usually only exceed this if I am practicing a specific spell. The
worse thing to do is to loose a bag of 100 of each reg because of a small mishap.
I apologize if this page has too many numbers and a lack of roll playing information
for you true diehard roll players out there. I am always torn between doing the
right thing which is role-playing 100%, and doing the numbers game to save time.
Because my time is so limited and being a macro monster is partially illegal and quite
lame, I compromise and use a lot of numbers and tables to advance my character so that I
can better enjoy the playing time that I have.
